A couple of weeks ago a group of CBC Homebrew Club members got together and learned all about growing, harvesting, and preparing hops for brewing from the fine folks of GEMS Farm. Nick is planning to use their Tahoma and Comet hops in a future recipe (stay tuned!). We want to give a big thank you to GEMS Farm for the fun and informative tour of their hops farm (in 99 degree weather)! GEMS Farm is a Veteran and family-owned hop farm located in Carlisle, PA that focuses on growing high quality fresh hops for brewers, restaurants, florists & many others.
